| The Royal Academy of Dance Queen Elizabeth II, Patron Dame Antoinette Sibley DBE, President The Academy is a prestigious international organization founded in London, England in 1920. The Academy first introduced children's examinations in 1924 to raise the quality of dance training throughout the world and to provide the opportunity for as many children as possible to learn and enjoy ballet. The Academy was granted a Royal Charter in 1935 and has grown to be the largest examining and training body for classical ballet in the world. With branches in 70 countries, the Royal Academy of Dance conducts examinations and sets high standards of dance training for over 250,000 students each year. |

| The American Academy of
Ballet Mignon Furman, Director This organization was formed to provide guidance for young dancers, in proper dance training. The American Academy of Ballet offers its Performance Awards program to provide performing opportunities, while giving the children a sense of achievement. The syllabus is taught by many teachers across the United States. It consists of a special choreographed program that is danced before an audience. Medals and certificates are awarded. Participants are also offered the opportunity to compete in the annual National Performance Awards competition The American Academy of Ballet organizes a summer school program at SUNY Purchase, New York. |

Ballet Performing Company Christina Starr, Artistic Director A performing company for local dancers based in Island Heights, NJ. The company provides performance experience for serious students in a professional atmosphere. Being involved with the productions will help young dancers continue their artistic journey with confidence and further their education in theater arts. Open auditions are held for the casting of every new production. |
