Teaching Methods

All great schools follow a standardized method of teaching. The Shore Ballet School is an affiliate of the Royal Academy of Dance and The American Academy of Ballet and uses their theories as a guide to superior training. Syllabus work from both academies are applied in ballet classes starting at the Primary level.

academy’s “Performance Awards” syllabus developed by Mignon Furman, is a unique concept of dance
training. Students receive special instruction in the program, which consists of training exercises and short
